This is a low mileage XL185 S that the previous owner has had for the best part of 40 years ! It's very original bar a Sammy Miller exhaust and replacement shock absorbers and is in full working order,having been ridden to me from approx 50 miles away without complaint..I believe it was unused for many years before being recommissioned and pressed back into action which is reflected in the condition of the bike. The paintwork is original and very good,as is the seat,engine sounds sweet,and runs fine.The forks are excellent under the gaiters,and the wheels are sound,although the chrome is beginning to flake on them. There aren't that many unrestored XL 185's around,and this one needs leaving alone and enjoying as is.
